In portfolio items list I don’t see the wpml “flag columns” so to edit in an other language I have to go in editing page and then switch.

I also have a problem with portfolio slug that seems not work in other languages even I have changed it in theme options. So if my item url is mysite.com/myslug/item/ I get a 404 for the english version mysite.com/en/my-en-slug/en-item/

Can you help me please, quite urgent…

First of all really sorry for the long reply but the mentioned issues needed deep investigation, testing, fixing and testing again.

Thank you very much for contacting us. The mentioned errors were indeed present and they need to be fixed.

1. “Flag Columns”
You are right. They were missing and will be added in the next theme update.

2. “Portfolio slug with WPML”
We managed to identify and fix the error and again, it will be fixed with the next update.

We will shortly provide (via e-mail) the new theme and assets plugin containing the fixes. Please accept our apologies.

I’ve just updated without any problem following your instructions.
Now anything is almost fixed, there is still a problem with the slug: in second language portfolio tab settings I don’t see the “Portfolio Slug” field, so in the frontend is not translated.

Can you help me to fix also this please, you understand this is essential for SEO.

This is on purpose. You can switch the slug for the “Default” language only. To translate the slug for the remaining languages please activate the WPML String Translations Plugin. Once done, follow the steps below:

1. In the WP Administration go to “WPML -> Translation options”
2. Scroll to the “Custom posts slug translation options” and check the checkbox “Translate custom posts slugs (via WPML String Translation).”
3. Hit “Save” button
4. Scroll down to “Custom posts” section and check the “Use different slugs in different languages for Portfolio.”
5. Enter your translations
6. Save
