It is also not very smooth.

We have inspected the problem. The problem seems to come from how web-kit browsers handle the widths when they are not integers. Since the design is fluid it the widths are set in percents and in some specific widths the browser seems to have problems with counting them perfectly.

You could try to set a custom page width under “Theme Options” -> “General Options” -> “Page Width” and set it to 1239 instead of 1240px.

It seems it helped in your case when we checked. Can you confirm it works?
