Hope all is well.

For whatever reason, my portfolio main page never seems to load anymore https://jamiecollinsdesign.co.uk/portfolio/

The images show in the footer widget at the bottom, however, when i go on to the portfolio page, nothing loads. Tried safari & chrome, no luck with either.

Any ideas?

thanks for preview link. Yep we see it doesn’t work. The first thing is that we see 2 JS errors, that could cause the problem. You could try to deactivate all the plugins you use to see if some of the doesn’t affect portfolio.

The portfolio preloader is made by JS and if there is another plugin causing an JS error it could stop portfolio exactly s in your case.

If it didn’t help please create an admin account for us and send us private message with please login / pass so we can have a look at it.

It seems to be the WooCommerce (2.2.4) plugin that causes the problem. Once deactivated, it seems to work fine. Thats fine for me as a temporary fix, however, i was planning on using WooCommerce in the near future

WooCommerce 2.2.4 was tested with Boldial and should not cause any error. Was the problem caused by the jquery.cookie.min.js as we explained in this post:

Logo Size and Javascript Error – Failed to load jquery.cookie.min.js in Woocommerce

If so, then the problem is rather connected with the server rather than with the theme itself.

Please provide more info about the error so we could try to eliminate it!

Yes, the problem is caused by the missing file inside the plugin folder.
You renamed the file directly inside the plugin as suggested by the plugin authors:

Now that the plugin got updated, the whole folder was removed, and the file is not there anymore. If you view the JS Errors on your site they will show you what the problem is.

Try the fix again and we guess it will work fine ;) You will have to do these changes every time you update the plugin. This is why we tried to push you to fix this issue with your server support team on their side. In that way the fix would be permanent.
