Is it possible to sort multiple categories on the Portfolio page? So that when you click on one category, it displays sub-categories to help you narrow down your choices?

Unfortunately this is not possible with the theme as it is right now. To make it work this way, custom changes are needed both to the PHP files and the JavaScript which handles the filtering.
