I’m trying to display categories in breadcumbs for blog post. Nalleto shows category in breadcrumb for portfolio posts but not for regular blog post like your demonstration: https://themes.ishyoboy.com/nalleto/growth-of-your-business

I noticed there’s a “taxonomy-portfolio-category.php” file but not one for post. Am I missing this file? Or is it something in post that I need to turn on to activate post-category in breadcrumb.

Nope, the mentioned file is not missing. Could you please provide a link (and in a private message login/pass if needed) to have a look at your page?

Do the Blog posts have categories attached? If yes, then the breadcrumbs should display the category automatically.

Thank you for the link. This is very strange. We’re unable to reproduce the “missing” category in breadcrumbs.

Have some changes been made to the theme code? If not, could you please provide in a “private reply” an admin username and password so we could log in and see all the settings and try to reproduce the problem on our testing machines?

As we’re unable to say why this is happening at the moment.

Secondly, please do not group several issues into one, in order to maintain one problem and solution per topic so users could easily browse and find the information they are looking for. We will move your second question into a separate topic.

Thank you for the credentials. We’ve spent 2 hours trying to find the reason but unsuccessfully. Could you please update to v1.2 as you still have v1.1 and this might be the reason. Just follow the update instructions in the latest documentation.

If the problem remains even after the update, then the problem might be connected with you server’s configuration. In this case please provide us with an FTP account where we could connect and do some changes to the files in “wp-content/themes/nalleto” as we will need to debug it on your server since everything works as it should on all our machines.
