Could you please provide a link where we can see the result and also what exactly do you mean by gap? How have you set it to 0px? via CSS? Could you please provide the code?

Cheers

This is a standard Visual Composer element, not a one from us. Maybe try to tweak it with custom css ;)

for this look you don’t need use any Visual Composer element.
This look can be achieved using a “Theme Options” settings.

Appearance -> Theme Options -> Blog Options
theme_options_blog_boldial

Do not forget to set your “posts page”!
Setting -> Reading -> Front page displays

I want to exclude some categories and also remove the categories text on top without having to delete the post created or the categories created.

¿How can this be done?

The Category Filter can be turned off from Theme Options -> Blog Options. The exclusion of categories however requires “hooking” into the loop by overriding the PHP files. E.g. “home.php”. There are various ways how to do it so you can try to google a little on how to do it in WordPress as the loop in home.php is the standard WordPress loop.

This is a customisation and therefore it is not included into our regular support. You can always contact us on hello@ishyoboy.com if you want to request our paid services to develop such functionality for you.

Cheers
