I have the following issue:
I have this page:
https://mysite.com/coffee
and I am translating to
https://mysite.com/en/coffee

The problem is when I use this URL https://mysite.com/en/coffee the page redirects back to https://mysite.com/coffee. It works only if i rename the page to https://mysite.com/en/coffee-1 for example.

Any ideas how to fix this?

is “en” set as the default WMPL language? If so then this is the standard WMPL functionality. The default language has no language in its URL.

Maybe try to check WMPL support to see how to set it by hard.

EDIT: Also maybe try to delete the page and re-create it again from scratch. Make sure it does not remain in the trash.
