The product’s image I loaded last month appears sharp but the same one i’m loading now appears blurry. And it’s the same for all new pictures product.

What’s wrong ???

Please use a big enough image. When you upload new images, upload them in full-size and the system will make all necessary versions by itself. Currently you are using too small image of 150x150px and you’re stretching it to 258×258 pixels.

When you click on the bad quality image, it appears in the good resolution in popup window – So, the resolution is not in question !?!?

I think WooCommerce use a 150x150px resized image to create the thumbnails and not the original one but why ??? Maybe I done something wrong because the same image (with same dimension and resolution) uploaded last month appears Sharp ! What it’s different today ?

The solution that I found consists to change the 3 different image sizes into the (WooCommerce / settings / catalog ), I changed each of these sizes to 645x645px (size of my original product image)

Then i Regenerated Thumbnails with the plugin : https://wordpress.org/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/

And It worked, all my product image are sharp !

The “Regenerate Thumbnails” plugin is a great tool and is a must when working or making changes to the WooCommerce images.
