The different sections (stripes) loose their background colour and/or
the contained parallax background image.
So I had to put back the 2.1 version….?

Did I miss anything here?

Did you update both the Theme AND the Assets plugin? Both need to be version 2.2 otherwise things won’t work correctly.

BUT….

VC is not working for me any more… Can you please see this problem? The site seems ok now but page builder is not functioning at all. I cannot insert any new item nor modify existing ones!!!
