Problems related to WPML 3.1.8.6

    Hi,
    I’ve updated to WPML 3.1.8.6. However, the update messed things up. It was working before the update. I’m not able to translate the customize theme options (site title and tagline). Also, I’m trying to translate my menu. I created my english menu called mainMenu and clicked on french. When I create the french menu, in the “translations of” box, I cannot assign mainMenu. It’s not listed.

    I contacted WPML support, but I’m afraid they are pointing me in the wrong direction. Here’s what they suggested below. My website can be found at https://www.nutribe.ca/wp
    Any help is appreciated.

    “If your site title and tagline are being pulled from your WordPress settings, these can be translated under “String Translation”.

    If those elements are not coming from your WordPress settings but rather from your theme settings, then you need to find out, are the theme settings saved in the options db table?
    If you confirm this, you will need a language configuration file as shown here: https://wpml.org/documentation/support/language-configuration-files/

    Once you have the required plugins installed, can you please check if the menu issue still persists ?”
