Re-ordering Portfolio Items

Hey,

I was wondering how I can re-order the items in portfolio and ones on the homepage. I tried manually by changing the publish date and made sure the settings are set to show the most recent but nothing changed. I also tried using a third party plugin “Intuitive Custom Post Order” which allows you to manually drag and drop the items but unfortunately that was also unsuccessful.

Any suggestions?

Hi there,

it’s very strange because both ways worked for us. But we recommend to change it by changing the publishing date of the portfolio detail, that worked 100%.

In your case could you please send us preview link and also private message with login / pass for us so we can login and check what’s the problem?

Thanks for getting back to me. It’s pretty bizarre because it’s working now. I turned off the plugin and flushed the cache a few times and the items are being displayed properly.

Glad to hear that. Oh yeah. The caching plugins might display older state of the pages so make sure to always flush the cache. Anyway, glad it’s resolved ;)
