I noticed that when I switched themes, some existing “pages” have the comments section on them. I would like to remove them so I did a search and tried the things mentioned here (https://support.ishyoboy.com/forums/topic/home-page-comments-off/), however, the “Discussions” tab under settings only controls the ability to turn off comments on newly created pages, and I can’t seem to locate the “discussion” section when I edit the page itself. I do, however, see a section below the main content area titled “Comments”, but I don’t have the ability to turn them off here, only to add a new comment.

Am I overlooking something or are the options perhaps different with the Multicorp theme? (I noticed most of those who posted this question in the past were using Boldial.)

The functionality is the same between the themes. To turn it off on existing pages you need to enable the “Discussion” Metabox. To do that. Edit a page, open the hidden settings bar on the right top corner of the edit screen by clicking on the tab called “Screen Options”. Then tick the “Discussions” checkbox. The field will then appear below the content area so just scroll down.
