One simple question : one can I remove comments from articles (we might use them in the future, but not at launch) ? I can’t seem to find this option in the backoffice.

This is a standard WordPress functionality. You need to open the “Screen Options” located at the top right corner when editing a post and tick the “Discussion” checkbox. You will then see a new metabox uder the post content in the administration.

Also, it just seems to disable the comments “Comments are closed.”.
To remove the comment area on a post, do I just “display :none;” on .ish-blog-comments-container or do you think there’s a cleaner way ?

You could edit the “single-post.php” file and remove the <?php comments_template('', true); ?> from it.

A much safer way is to copy it to the starter Child Theme we provide and use it so your changes would not be lost on the next theme update.
