This is how revolution slider works. It decreases the size of the contents.
Does it not look ok even after you refresh the page in the responsive mode? Sometimes the re-sizing is not computed correctly and users will usually come to the page in exact size and not re-size it anymore.

This doesn’t seem to be a bug but the way the revolution slider treats the content. Maybe try to play around with it and its settings to change it.

when decreasing the size, the slider does some math to decrease the font-size, positions, etc.. Since the size gets smaller it needs to “round” some of the values. The more it is decreased the more the values are rounded. Once you start increasing them again some information is lost forever because of the rounding thuss when you get to the original slider size the sizes of the elements inside are not returned to their original sizes but their sizes are increased starting from the reduced ones and they will never be the same.

To avoid this behavior of Revolution Slider you can use the IshYoBoy slider or slides shortcode and control the behavior of each element using custom CSS and media queries.
