(i) is it correct to have all of the pages listed in the right-hand column? If so how do I hide them?

(ii) .The only problem is the main page does not scroll down slowly…it tweaks out and skips to the bottom. How do I fix this?

Regarding the first problem: No, it is not ok :) You must have missed some of the steps. Please have a look at this topic where the problem has already been solved once:

Menu is Vertical

Regarding the second problem. I am not sure what you mean. Maybe it’s connected with the first one so please get back to us with a more detailed explanation if it still occurs after you set the Main Menu (issue 1).
