Do you currently have something like this built it?

Unfortunately this is the part where third-party sliders come into action. You can use the Revolution Slider or Layer Slider which provide great interface to easily set something like this up.

You can create a full-width row without paddings and then add your slider. Another option would be to use the built in slider but you will have to add custom styles to position it absolutely within the row, make its width and height as necessary and so on. This shouldn’t be a hard task if you are familiar with CSS.

Each page element has advanced options to set custom CSS classes so you can control its content’s style via CSS.
