Hi,

How do I add a | (pipe) or – (hypen) as a separation in the filtration for project title names?

Hey,

Do you mean adding separator between the items in the Portfolio filter? So between each category? E.g. On the following page between “all”, “illustration”, etc:

If so then either consider CSS only option. By changing the “content” property of the “:after” pseudo-class of the items in the filter. E.g.:

.ish-part_content .ish-section-filter li:after{
	display: inline-block;
	content: "|"
	margin: 0 10px;
	position: relative;
}

.ish-part_content .ish-section-filter li:after{

display: inline-block;

content: "|"

margin: 0 10px;

position: relative;

}

Or override the “ish_portfolio.php” template following this guide:

Override shortcode template in a child theme

And find where the filter is being output and add it manually between the items.

Thanks I solved it with the CSS you provided in the ticket. The only problem is that it will add the | even in the last

So to remove the last ” | ” I added the following:

.ish-part_content .ish-section-filter li:last-child:after { content: "";}

Hope I am right??
