Here’s an image to demonstrate what I mean, comparing the image on my hard drive to the image after upload and an image uploaded to Squarespace.

Color Shift

Is there some kind of color management I can do either before or during upload to prevent this?

yes we ca see the small color difference too, but there is absolutely nothing what we do for color management. We however google it a bit and we found what could be the problem. Please have alook at these articles, we’re sure it will help:
