I’m using the blog page as a news page, and I would like to present all the content of each article in the that page. As it is now, the blog page shows only the first two lines of each article, and then you need to open the article to read the rest. If there’s a “simple” way to change that I would like to do it, and show all the content of the articles. In affirmative case it would be interesting to remove the link to each article too, if I’m already showing the complete article in the blog page I don’t need a link to the individual articles.

Thank you again,
Bruno Maia

To manage this we suggest using the provided child theme starter. Activate it and do the modifications in it so you won’t loose your changes with future updates.

Read more about child themes here: https://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes

You will have to modify 6 files located in the root of your parent theme (‘wp-content\themes\minicorp\’).

The files are content-post-*.php

Copy all of them to your child theme’s root folder and locate the_excerpt(); function call in each of them and change it with ‘the_content();’.

You can also remove the Read More link and update the titles e.g. by removing the surrounding “a” elements to disable the links to the the_permalink().

Cheers

A 5 star rating is always a great motivation for us if you are happy with our theme or support!
