Hi,

Anyone knows how to add a slide just like we have in the Homepage but on an internal page? I tried but it didn’t work properly.

Could you please specify which page you mean? If you are working with the “Slides” (IshYoBoy slider) then please have a look into the documentation file. The whole process is described step by step.

Hi,

I followed exactly what is described in docs for Yshyoboy Sliders but it didn’t work. It actually loads the slide element with its headline 2 text correctly but image isn’t displayed.

I’m using WPML translated to English. What I did differently was to add an English version of slide and slider and then use the shortcode pointing to the English slug’s slider name.

Any idea what I have missed?

Hi Epimazzo,

Sorry for the longer response time. We were already out of office yesterday evening when your message arrived.

Just checked the problem and it is caused due to the fact that there is only one slide. It’s a slider and it Expects at least two slides to work correctly :) We’ll have a look to see if we can get it working with a single slide as well.

EDIT 1:
The problem is that in the [slider] shortcode you have explicitly set that the “autoslide” should be “yes”. This causes the problem if there is one slide only. So either set autoslide to “no” (or remove it completely) or add a second slide. We’ll check what we can do about it on our side.

EDIT 2:
Please check our next reply containing final solution ( JS code changes ).

P.S.: We have created and left a second slide (TEST) so you might want to remove it.

Okay here is a quick fix which will be available in the next update. First locate the file:

wp-content\themes\minicorp\assets\html\core\libs\js\main.js

Edit it and on line 498 you should have the following block:

var opts = {
	selector: '.slidable-container > [class*="slide"]',
	animation: 'slide',
	...

var opts = {

selector: '.slidable-container > [class*="slide"]',

animation: 'slide',

...

We need to add additional code in front of it and so the following code

// Fix autoslide when only one slide available
var slides = me.find('[class*="slide"]');
if ( slides.length <= 1 ) {
	dataAttr.autoslide = 'no';
}

// Fix autoslide when only one slide available

var slides = me.find('[class*="slide"]');

if ( slides.length <= 1 ) {

dataAttr.autoslide = 'no';

}

So the result will be:

// Fix autoslide when only one slide available
var slides = me.find('[class*="slide"]');
if ( slides.length <= 1 ) {
	dataAttr.autoslide = 'no';
}

var opts = {
	selector: '.slidable-container > [class*="slide"]',
	animation: 'slide',
	...

// Fix autoslide when only one slide available

var slides = me.find('[class*="slide"]');

if ( slides.length <= 1 ) {

dataAttr.autoslide = 'no';

}

var opts = {

selector: '.slidable-container > [class*="slide"]',

animation: 'slide',

...

As mentioned this will be a part of the next update so this change is update save even-though you’re editing the main theme.
