The problem is that you have selected a “Content” slide rather than “Image” slide in the settings of the current slide. Please change it to be an Image slide instead in the meta box on the right hand side in the edit window.

If you however need it to be “Content” slide then please let us know and we can provide a piece of code to remove the background pattern and the white fade. The reason it is there is that content slide are meant for content heavy slides and the content would be unreadable if the image was not faded.
