I’ve installed the theme and everything works great except that when I try to add an SVG icon, the selections come up with blank boxes, any idea why that may be happening? The normal icons work fine.

The problem might be your server. It sends the SVG images back to the browser but instead of specifying that they are SVG files it sends them as plain text and thus the browser does not know that they are SVG files.

Also you could google for “apache image/svg+xml” to find more information.

It could also be a very good idea to consult this with your hosting provider’s support team as they should know how to solve this quickly and effectively.

The .htaccess is not related to the theme but the WordPress installation. So it should be in the root folder of your WordPress. The index.php should be there.

We strongly recommend contacting your hosting provider’s support as they should be able to guide you very quickly.
