Theme Last Update

Hello Guys ,

After I update the theme to the last update i found this two issues can you please help with them ,
Thanks .
1- Most of the icons have disappeared (apparently because the new update uses a new default font)
2- The tagline of the website showed up beside the logo, we need to hide it

Hi aymanaly,

1. The Icons – All icons which were available before the update are still available. We just added a fen new ones. This might be caused by a wrongly uploaded file. Please try to upload them again

2. The Tagline – was always visible next to the logo. Maybe you have used some code to hide it. If you have done the changes directly inside the parent theme and not a child one then this the problem. You should never edit the main theme files directly.

Please provide a link to the page as we might then be able to provide more adequate information once we inspect the errors.

In any case. Please try to re-upload the theme and the assets plugin as well. They both need to be updated to their latest versions.

Hey,

We see now! You mean the SVG icons, not the Fontello ones.

1. Were the missing icons custom or from the theme. We had to remove one of the icon sets as it was buggy and the icons were not visible on any apple device. Maybe the used icons were from that set. Is it okay to replace them with existing ones or do you want to use the ones form the mentioned set but accepting the fact that they are not visible on Apple devices?

2. Tagline.
You can simply hide it with CSS. just set its display property to none.

Hey ,

Some Of the icons we have uploaded them so if you remove them please tell me and let me know if they are buggy so i can change them OR not so i can upload them again ,

Hey,

Not sure we understand. What icons have you uploaded and mainly where have you uploaded them?

We see one of the missing icons is supposed to be inside:
PLUGIN_PATH/Social media Icons/Leogami Icon 75x75.png

Seems like this is a custom icon which was uploaded directly to the plugin folder.

If you have used the update safe, child theme way then they should be working fine. If you have uploaded them directly into the theme folder or plugin folder then they are gone and you need to re-upload them after every update.

This is why child theme way should be used. The instructions are available directly in the pop-up window below the list of icons:

Choose an icon which will be displayed next to the headline. To add your own SVG icons add them in a folder inside “ish-plugins/ishyoboy-shortcodes/assets/frontend/images/icon-sets/” in the child theme root.
