Transparent Navigation -> is this possible? If I scroll down it is already transparent but not in “normal” modus…

Transparent Footer /copyright area so the picture is visible too?

I used this Custom CSS Code so far and tried several others… but its just not working:

.ish-part_header .ish-row { background-color: transparent !important;}

But the Standard Navi (without scrolling ) is still white… I want to see the picture under the navigation buttons..

Hi,

To achieve this you will have to “pull” the section that comes after the header up by -100px which is the current header height + add the same amount of padding to the already existing padding which is 50px. The complete code would then be:

.ish-part_header > .ish-row {
	background-color: transparent;
}

.ish-part_header + .ish-part_tagline {
	padding-top: 150px; /* Originally 50 + 100px header height */
	margin-top: -100px;
}

.ish-part_header > .ish-row {

background-color: transparent;

}

.ish-part_header + .ish-part_tagline {

padding-top: 150px; /* Originally 50 + 100px header height */

margin-top: -100px;

}

Another option would be to set a background image for the background under “Theme Options -> Pattern Options -> Background Pattern (Boxed layout only)” and manually set the background to transparent of all parts you mentioned. Header, Footer, Legals, (and maybe Taglines) using custom css.

Not sure if it is understandable but I hope it is. If not, just get back to us.

Hello!

I purchased this theme a couple of days ago it’s been been great to work with.

In addition to the css above, how and what would I change so that the header regains it’s color as the window scrolls down? Would this be a css edit or js?

Hey,

We’re really happy to hear that!

Instead of the first part of the code above, you could use the following code:

.ish-part_header:not(.ish-sticky-scrolling) > .ish-row {
    background-color: transparent;
}

.ish-part_header:not(.ish-sticky-scrolling) > .ish-row {

background-color: transparent;

}

It sets the background to transparent only if the navigation is not scrolling which is what you are trying to get :)
