The demo import should be done just once to avoid duplicates but this should not have any effect over the functionality.

The loading screen you mentioned might be caused by a third party plugin generating a JS error on the back-end. Please check if there is an error and try to eliminate it. Have you installed any new plugins lately?

If you are still facing the problems please provide access (username and password with admin rights) and a link to the page where it happens in a private reply so we could log-in and inspect it :)

Once we deactivated the JetPack the back-end worked just fine.. Please try to identify which part of JetPack that you need triggers the problem.

The server returned 500 Internal Server Error on every ajax request.

It had me login to jetpack as soon as I installed WP and I havent touched it since, so Im not sure what initiated the error. I’ll see if I can figure out what part of it is clashing.
