I’m having an issue with the custom tagline in the edit page in which after updating the page the custom title and tag line reverts back to being unchecked and the original page title is visible.

This also seems to be affecting any deviation from the default settings such as adding sidebar, altering navigation footer widgets etc.

it sounds very strange to us. Could you please send us preview link? SO we could check if there are no e.g. JS errors, or others.

Eventually you could also create an admin testing account for us so we could check it o your preview page, on our side everything works fine.

There might be some error within the page so maybe create a new one from scratch and set all settings as they should be set. Then copy the content from the old page to the new one. To do this, switch to WordPress Editor via the big yellow button and then choose the “TEXT” tab. Copy the content and do the same in the new page. now save the new page. If all works, remove the old one (from trash as well) and change the slug (permalink) of the new one to the correct one if needed.

Glad it works. Can’t really say what “broke” the page.. Was it a new page created in Boldial or a page coming from another theme?
