It used the same layout as your demo home page, can you take a look and see what the problem is.

I suspect it may be the new visual composer but not sure.

i have updated the theme but not the plugin. the plugin folder i got from theme forest was EMPTY on the new update.

You should always update both the Theme and the plugin as they go hand in hand.

The Plugin contains an automatic update checker and update functionality so can be updated right from the “Plugins” section in your WordPress installation. The theme unfortunately needs to be updated manually.
