How can the theme be updated to the latest version of visual composer?

The specific feature im looking for is the ability to block certain blocks from mobile view and show others.

Unfortunately it cannot right now as VC has changed the way it works in the last versions.
We need to ensure compatibility with all our shortcodes before providing an update of the latest version. It requires quite a lot of changes.

We are trying to locate the mentioned functionality inside the latest version “VC 4.3.4” but are unable to do so.

Which elements have this ability or where can we access it? Thanks

But the element can be found at the row settings and some other elements (some themes have it implemented for custom elements as well).

Its most noticeable at the row shortcode (there is an entire tab for this functionality).

Did you mean this? We don’t see any option for disabling elements in mobile view. Are you sure you are using the default, unmodified VC without any add-on?

Thank you very much for pointing this out. Ahaa.. It is in the Column’s settings. We will explore it and see if there’s a way to integrate it into our theme.

We’ll get back to you on that but cannot promise it will get to the next update. This might require up to a few weeks to be 100% tested.

The latest version of VC will be surely integrated but the additional “responsiveness” control of columns will not be supported as it interferes with our grid system and causes problems.

Anyway the latest version of VC will be integrated during the next weeks.
