In the templates that came with the Kopy theme the header area can have a ‘∨’ icon, and in the visual editor adding an url (eg. #portfolio) causes the jump to the appropriate place.

However, when I have copied the structure from the template into the header area of a new page or portfolio post, this doesn’t seem to work???

Am I missing something?

(btw.is there a list somewhere of other url options beyond #portfolio)

Thanks in advance and looking forward to a fix for the H1 headline issue since the WP update last night.

Cheers

Jon.

Could you please provide the link to the page where this does not work?

A link to “#portfolio” means there is an element within the page, which has an “ID” set to “portfolio”. If the code is not working it might be because there is no such section on the page it is used.

You can edit any page element and in the bottom of its options you will find “Advanced Global Attributes”. Change it to “yes” and you will have a field (apart from the others that appear) to enter the ID. Then just create a link which links to this ID :)

Cheers

thanks for getting back to me.

Here’s a link where it works:
https://www.jonthurston.com/portfolio/kolkata/

and here’s a page built the same way via Visual Page Builder, where it doesn’t:
https://www.jonthurston.com/portfolio/kashmir/

Thanks in advance

Jon.

As explained above, you have no page element with ID portfolio in the new page.
