1. I would like the user to be able to see the original image in a fancybox overlay when they click on the image in the Portfolio section rather than be redirected to the portfolio page and then have to click at images to see the gallery. It is ok if each image in the portfolio is linked to just one image instead of a gallery and that image opens up in an overlay without opening the portfolio page.

2. The special effect when you hover above the image (zoom or cube etc.) is very slow in Safari browser and sometime does not work at all.

3. In the Safari browser on Apple Machines the parallax slider does not work.

A lot of people in Canada use Apple machines and point 2 and 3 are causing a serious issue.

Will appreciate your help as I need to make the website live over this weekend.

Sorry for getting back to you just now, but we were off for the weekend. Hope you managed to get done everything you needed and you made id on time.

Regarding the problems 2 and 3. We have tested the behavior on several Mac machines before releasing the theme and also now that you pointed them out and could not reproduce the problems. Everything works smoothly out here. What version of OSX and mainly Safari are you using? Does it happen on a second machine as well? What about our live preview? Do the problems occur in there as well? Could you try disabling all third-party plugins and check it again? Usually such problems are caused by other plugins.

Regarding the image in an overlay window. Sorry, but this functionality is not available for the portfolio. You could however add it yourself by adding changes into a child theme. This however involves good knowledge of WordPress, PHP, HTML and JavaScript.

You can override the portfolio shortcode template and change the PHP code to output the necessary html content and then add JavaScript to trigger it on mouseclick and etc..
