Hi,

Is it possible to align different divs to the bottom of his container?
I have tried several custom css codes like:
`
.item{
vertical-align: bottom;
//
position: absolute;
bottom: 0;
}

EDIT
margin-top seems to do the trick but it’s not the prettiest solution..

I trying to made a custom homepage layout with a big menu with vertical menu items.

Hi Chris,

your issue is caused by “float: left”. You can’t use float in case you need use vertical-align.

Please replace your css code:

.item {
    border: solid;
    float: left;
    width: 19%;
    height: auto;
}

.item {

border: solid;

float: left;

width: 19%;

height: auto;

}

With this CSS code:

.item {
    width: 19%;
    height: auto;
    display: inline-block;
    vertical-align: bottom;
}

.item {

width: 19%;

height: auto;

display: inline-block;

vertical-align: bottom;

}
