Visual Composer empty on Pages

Hi,

I have a problem when I transfer a website from my development server on my computer to my hosting account.

In particular, it affects the Visual Composer plugin. Any pages created using VC are not editable when the site is transferred. I just get an empty VC ‘Welcome to Blank Page, You Have No Content Yet!’ The Pages themselves are visible, but I can’t edit them.

Would you know of any reason why I should have these problems?

I have transferred the site over using backup and archive scripts, and I have also done it manually using phpMyAdmin, but still I have the same problem.

I am using MAMP 3.4 on a Mac to develop the site. I am coming to the conclusion it is a MAMP problem, but I don’t know what the issue is.
