I’m encountering a weird problem through the page builder. On some pages, when I’ll edit some informations and close the popup window, the whole tab is freezing, and I have to wait more or less 5s before being able to edit anything else or publish the content.

This is really a pain, as it slows down the edition and dev process, and it seems I can do nothing about that… I have the latest WP install, and the latest update of the theme.

I also made a migration of the website (working on a local server) onto a dev server, online. Even on a fresh install of WP, the problem stays here… Could it be that the page builder could slow down when there is too much elements in the page ?

This seems to be an issue with Visual Composer. Does it happen on empty pages or when you have a bigger amount of elements in the content area? What web browser are you using? Are you on windows? Mac? Is the same behaviour present in other browsers?

Indeed, this is happening when I have bigger amount of data for a single page.
I was on Chrome/Windows, and following your remark, tested the page builder on Firefox. No issues on this browser, I guess I’ll adapt then :/

We’re also Chrome users and from time to time it occurs as on our machines as well.. We have already notified the Visual Composer guys but it was one VC version ago. Hope they will fix it soon.

We’re very sorry you’ll might have to use Firefox temporarily :( Know exactly how you feel about it. Hope the VC guys will look at it.
