Unfortunately the front-end editor is not compatible with Boldial since VC is not used as a plugin but inside the theme and plus some db related shortcodes like portfolio would not work.

We might consider enabling it in future updates but for now it remains unavailable.

If you use VC as a plugin we are afraid our shortcodes will not work as expected in the front-end editor. You will also have to change some of the VC settings using their API in order to load the correct templates for rows, columns, etc.. which are quite essential elements.
