Whats the best way to add the webmasters & google plus code to the site?

Am i right in thinking if i use the editor and update the theme, the code will be removed after an update?

if “webmasters” means Google Analytics you can easily add it into “Theme Options -> General Options -> Tracking Code”.

Regarding Google Plus we’re not sure what exactly you mean, could you please specify it little bit more?
