Woocommerce Product’s Featured Image Meta Box missing – unable to set image

Hi,

I am facing an issue after updating to the latest WooCommerce version 2.2.8. There is no Meta Box for Featured Image when editing any product. There is also no check-box under “Screen Options” to show the box. How to set the product’s image?

Please open the file:
wp-content\themes\minicorp\functions.php

For Nalleto theme it would be:
wp-content\themes\nalleto\functions.php

And find this code:

add_theme_support( 'post-thumbnails', array(
	'portfolio-post',
	'ishyoboy_slides',
	'post'
));

add_theme_support( 'post-thumbnails', array(

'portfolio-post',

'ishyoboy_slides',

'post'

));

Please change it to:

add_theme_support( 'post-thumbnails', array(
	'portfolio-post',
	'ishyoboy_slides',
	'post',
	'page',
	'product'
));

add_theme_support( 'post-thumbnails', array(

'portfolio-post',

'ishyoboy_slides',

'post',

'page',

'product'

));

This will fix the mentioned problem.

Ok it worked! I was adding the above code in nalleto-child (this is the default theme).

Yes you are right. We should stress that! This change will be part of the next update so you are safe to change it directly in the parent theme files.
