I just installed WPML on our website based on the Minicorp theme.
Somehow I am not able to get the language switcher in the ‘webshop menu’ as seen in the demo theme.

If I do this, I get a standard language switcher where it displays a language by default. In the demo, the wornd ‘language; is displayed and when you hover, the lsit appears.

Any idea how I can do this too? We believe our current visitors will not understand our setting.

First of all, if you have used the imported demo data to build upon. Then go to “Appearance -> Menus” and make sure there is no language submenu in the “Header bar” menu.

Now go to Appearance -> Theme Options -> Header Options and make sure to set the “Display the language selector” to ON in the “Header Bar” settings.

This should display the language selector as last item. Also make sure to go into the WPML settings and un-check the “Display the language switcher in the WP Menu Header Bar”.

We are using our custom switcher instead of the built in WPML one ;)

This should solve your problem.

Sorry, I didn´t realize the custom language switcher was already prebuilt and to be activated in the theme options.

Ps we didn´t use the demo data install, we designed from scratch.

One question though…The Minicorp demo theme seems to have a small vertical ´divider´ in the webshop menu. This is not showing on our install. How do we get this?

Regarding the separator here is a quotation from the documentation ( step 7 from the First Steps section)

To create separators in the header top bar, please use “Custom Link” and set the URL to “#top-nav-separator”.
