Changes made via the Yoast interface will not ‘publish’ and are lost every time I click update.

I understand that you do not offer support for 3rd party plugin compatibility issues.

Therefore:
Is it possible to amend meta data manually without the use of a 3rd party plugin? If so, how?
Or can you recommend a plugin that, in your experience, does work with the theme?

All our themes are made to work perfectly with WordPress SEO by Yoast plugin and we’re using it in our live previews. There must be other problem.

1. Could you please try it on a NEW Page? Are you still experiencing the same problem?

2. Could you please clear your browser’s cache memory?

3. Are you using a caching plugin? Could you please clear all caches?

4. Please deactivate all other plugins too see if the problem is not caused by any of them.

5. Are there any JavaScript or PHP Errors?

Yoast IS working on new pages, so that’s great!

However original pages are still not updating.

I have:
Turned off all other plugins.
Cleared my browser cache.
Deactivated and then reactivated Yoast.
There is no caching plugin running on the site.

Sorry, I’m not a developer so not sure about the code errors.

Any ideas of what next? Thanks.

If it is not working on any page try re-creating it again.

1. Create a “New Page” and keep it open in one tab
2. Go to the original page”, edit it, “Switch to WordPress Editor” by clicking on the yellow button above the content.
3. Make sure to switch to “TEXT” tab not the visual and copy all the content
4. Now switch back to the new page, go again to Text tab and paste the content.

You can save the new page, remove the original one (from the trash as well) and if necessary change the slug of the new page.
