bbpress and buddypress compatibility

I’m trying to make a simple forum on my website but I have these styling problems on some pages, for example, I want to add a different menu or a sidebar to the bbpress and buddypress pages they don’t show up, even the members’ page doesn’t load at all, simple things like that. Is there any way I can solve this problem? Would you recommend different plugins to achieve a simple forum on my website?
