Changing color of social media icons

Hi,

How can I change the color of the social media icons in the top media bar to white and then on mouse over a very dark gray?

It also looks like I’ll need to use a different style of social media icons because the b/g of them is also a light gray. Can I use the Fontello images in this space and if so how would I do that? Thanks.
