SVG Icon Color

Hi there,
I have imported a new Icon Pack from Flaticon.com.
I’m able to add the icons without any problems, however the icons are currently black and I would like to change them to white.
I have used the “Extra CSS class” field and have assigned the class “whitesvgicons”
And I have added the following code in to custom CSS, but the icon colour stays black:

.whitesvgicons path
{
fill: white;
}

What am I doing wrong?
