Responsive Layout: Minimum Height for Images & Sliders?

Hello again!

I am curious… for the responsive layout of my website, is there a way to set a minimum height as it applies for images and sliders when the responsive action occurs?

As you can see on my website, the slider I have set up on my homepage, as well as the header images I have on most of my child pages, showcase a large image. I love how this design looks on my desktop, however, when the responsive design kicks in when viewed on my phone vertically, the slider/images reduce significantly, to the point that they are no longer eye-catching.

I thought that if it was possible to set a minimum height on these type of items, it would help to possibly fix that problem.

If you could please let me know if that is possible, I would greatly appreciate it!
