Move featured image

I am trying to figure out how to move the featured image from within Grid10 to Grid2. I followed the post: Customize blog post details (date, categories, tags, comments) on overview page via child theme. This worked great and I now have the date, categories, etc. below the post title.

Now I would like to place the featured image in Grid2 where the date, category, etc. used to be. I just can’t make sense out of what needs to be moved. Here is what I currently have in my content-post-standard file:

I’m sure this must be an easy thing to do. I don’t know php very well but I’m trying to understand it.
