Sidebar on static page creates problem

Hello,

when I create a blog page with Sidebar, everything is ok the sidebar appears below the big feature image, but when I try to add a sidebar on a static page (eg: About) the sidebar appears on the top edge of the main featured photo and a big white rectangle appears around the photo. (I’m sending you the test page link privately via email).
