Video Background Redownloads when it ends

We recently started using the video background feature of your No8 template to display a video in our home page (http://www.indigentstudio.com). We felt the page became a memory hog quite rapidly and so, after running a few tests, we discovered that the video background was redownloading itself when it reaches it’s end instead of just simply looping.

This leads to high download sizes (for the duration of the 1.3 min that our developer spent on our site, she got 315MB downloaded because of the video).

What is the best way of approaching this? Should we expect a fix on your end or try to go at it ourselves?

We’ll probably reduce the video size to help with this but it’s still not optimal to call the video continuously like this.
