Word press in another language

Hello,

I would like to have the word press in two languages.
You mentioned to set up my main custom menu to simply be links to your two homepages, i.e. “English” and “Francais” and then use a custom menu widget for the full menu in each language.
BUT
Is there a way to use current Main Menu as a Custom menu
and use a top page Menu (above the current Main Menu) as a main menu.

Our goal is to have the main custom menu to simply be links to my two homepages: “English” and “Francais” and then use a custom menu widget for the full menu in each language.
Is it possible?
