Can I move tagline below site logo?

I want to add a tagline to my site. I don’t have one now, and I believe Google still has my old tagline from the original version of my site. I tried adding it under Themes -> Site Identity – > Tagline. When I add it, the tagline appears on the same line as the logo…this doesn’t leave room for the menu, and I get the hamburger/wave on the right side of the page.

I’d like to have the tagline show up under the logo instead, and then my menu should appear. Can it be changed to do this?
