Customizing the portfolio shortcode’s filter output – adding custom code

hello, i need to add some customized code just after the filter categories menu in the portfolio page (just in the middle, under the filters and before the gallery items). but i don’t understand which file i should edit.

it’s maybe “taxonomy-portfolio-category.php”?

where can i add my customized row with my own code?
