Hosting

What is the best hosting in your experience in terms of running easy WP & theme updates and FTP access in order to maintain the theme? I am with 1&1 and every time you release an update to the theme I’m stuck as to how to go through the documented procedure. This is in part to my lack on experience with FTP editing but also it seems it could also be 1&1 isn’t great linking to WP either.

I see mto have lost my visual editor with the new WP update which his installed automatically but as I need to mess about with the FTP and can’t for the Minicorp update I’m a bit stuck…
