Links aren't saving in VC

The VC in wordpress is not allowing me to add links to images or icons. When I add the link in the VC, it comes back as undefined (see screenshot), and doesn’t work after the changes have been saved. If I manually add the link to the code in the wordpress editor, it works as it should. Not a huge deal, but do you have any ideas why it isn’t working within the VC?
